McLean Camargo PLLC is a one stop boutique firm that offers accounting, booking, and tax services for individuals, sole proprietors, small business owners, partnerships, and S-corporation. Our services can be specific to a service or it can be a suite of services, such as bookkeeping, tax filing or financial coaching.
For the past 20 years Bruce has worked in various accounting, tax, and financial planning positions. Bruce started his career in public accounting as an auditor for nonprofit companies in the Washington, D.C. area. After working for a medium size tax firm that provided general tax services, Bruce worked for the Private Wealth group at Deloitte preparing taxes for the high net worth individuals and families. Afterwards, Bruce spent five years as an Internal Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Bruce also spent time as a financial planner for a financial service firm in Maryland and is a financial coach.
Bruce has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from University of Maryland University College and a Master of Taxation from Bentley University. He has a CPA license and is a Certificate Financial Planner™.
Maria McLean, co-founder, has been an auditor for 15 years. She has extensive knowledge in reviewing financial statements and bookkeeping. She started her career as an external auditor for Deloitte and gained experience working with large and small companies. She also worked for the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, D.C. as an internal auditor before she started working for the Department of the Treasury as an auditor.
Maria has an accounting degree from Bentley College and a CPA license with the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy and has her QuickBooks Online Proadvisor certification.
